Are you passionate about teaching and advocating for classroom instruction that supports diversity, equity, and cultural competence or using and promoting trauma-sensitive practices? Then you may want to consider this exciting opportunity to develop professional learning for teachers in these areas. 

In light of the events of the past year, NEA is creating additional micro-credentials and blending learning courses for two learning pathways:

  1. diversity, equity, and cultural competence for classroom teachers
  2. trauma-informed practices

These new professional learning offerings will focus on increasing the relational, instructional, and pedagogical capacity of teachers to cultivate just learning environments and trauma-sensitive practices. To that end, NEA is looking for a diverse group of writers to create blended learning courses and micro-credentials.  

This work will be done virtually, and all writers will need to be available for all dates listed for the work in which they are selected.  These dates and more information can be found on the application.
